Dr. Miller began his career in the military, which he believes carried him forward in his career and established his ethos. He was originally interested in internal medicine, which evolved into an interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology. “As I got into it further, the thought of being able to treat the fetus as my patient was completely enthralling and interesting. That’s what really attracted me,” Dr. Miller says of his interest in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. “As the field of Maternal-Fetal Medicine was beginning to develop, it really intrigued me, and I was excited about the possibility of having both the mother and the fetus as my patients.”

Dr. Miller says that what he likes best about being a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist is the interaction with his patients – he loves to talk to them and answer and ask questions, learning from each other along the way. He hopes that every patient he meets with is able to get something rewarding out of the interaction.

In his free time, Dr. Miller enjoys traveling, and he is a self-proclaimed foodie and history buff. Patients can make an appointment with Dr. Miller at our Belleville, Livingston, or Westfield office locations.
